Meet your Respiratory Coach.

Your Respiratory Coach is your primary guide through this program. They are someone who knows your history, knows what you have tried before, and shows up consistently for you. Not a call center. Not a rotating roster. The same person, over time, building a relationship with you.

All of our Respiratory Coaches are Respiratory Therapists. Respiratory Therapists are highly specialized clinical professionals who have been trained on everything about the lungs and breathing. They are typically found only in hospitals managing complex breathing equipment. We bring them directly to you, through your phone, on your schedule, on your terms.

A word of honest encouragement. There is no magic bullet here. Getting better takes time, consistency, and some willingness to look at hard things. Your coaches are genuinely on your side. They will celebrate every win with you. But they will also be honest when something is not working. That honesty is part of the care.

Why do I still have asthma attacks even though I take my medication?
Research found that 71% of people with asthma scored below the threshold for good control while believing they were well managed. HCO's program is built to close this gap: your wearable data reveals what your body is already signaling, and your care team helps you act on it before a crisis develops.
Is this just another app? How is this different?
The research is clear: apps and devices alone do not produce lasting results. What works is structured, personalized self-management education delivered by a trusted clinician over time. ADAMM provides the data. Your respiratory therapist provides the context and relationship that makes the data actionable. The CDC identified this combination as one of only four evidence-based interventions for asthma, reducing ED visits by 45% and hospitalizations by 56%.
How much does the program cost and can I use my HSA or FSA?
If your employer or health plan offers HCO Respiratory as a covered benefit, it may cost you nothing. You can also enroll through the self-pay HCO Respiratory platform at ndh.health. Both HSA and FSA accounts are accepted. The ADAMM wearable is included at no extra cost for members enrolled through an employer or health plan.
Does the program cover COPD as well as asthma?
Yes. The program covers both asthma and COPD. ADAMM was developed specifically for respiratory conditions and has been studied in both populations. The clinical education model is personalized to each member's condition, triggers, medication regimen, and goals.
What is Nightingale Respiratory Care?
Nightingale Respiratory Care was our self-pay brand, which is now available under HCO Respiratory. Self-pay options are available at https://ndh.health. There you will find the same program. Plans are HSA/FSA eligible.
