August 2013 – a bright summer day in Rochester, NY (we didn’t yet understand how rare that wasl) – Ran, Prinson and Sharon, newly enrolled in the MS Technical Entrepreneurship and Management (TEAM) program at the University of Rochester, meet for the first time. A unique program featuring interdepartmental disciplines between engineering and management, TEAM’s focus is preparing entrepreneurs to launch high-tech start-ups. Within a few weeks, the team came up with guiding-light principles for all future projects together – always have fun; always be open; always be honest.
Fast forward a few months later, and the team, now with the addition of Jared, coalesced around ADAMM – an asthma solution so unique that we just had to bring it to market. Sharon, an asthmatic from birth, uniquely understood the power of this solution .. In September 2014, we were awarded an exclusive license to this technology.
2014 to present:
Our team evolved, as teams must do to meet our business requirements. We also listened to our customers and decided to change our first product launched to ADAMM-RSM – a system with multi-function capability, capable of being deployed in many applications, such as the one we’re in now.
In 2020, we’re focusing on deployments in clinical trials, telemedicine and remote patient monitoring around the globe. In the background, we continue to work on our products geared for asthma, COPD and individual ailments, with the intent of launching our asthma version in 2021.
